EVERYONE KNOWS…

since Bob Dylan sang it to us: “the answer is blowing in the wind”… but by the way, what’s the question?

Before attempting to reply to this answer, let us first thank the «Hunting and Knitting Museum» for the loan of these works of cervids, knitting warm slings so that their executioners do not have cold neck.
Let us also thank the «Foundation for the Memorial of Elephants» who did not hesitate to sacrifice 120 pianos to create this monument.
May the «Society of Practitioners of Piallard & Bino» also be thanked here. They will not be able to play on one of the most beautiful pieces in their collection.
Not forgetting «The Museum of the Mine, Horses and Children» which thanks to the availability of this window allows us to evoke a time when horses and children were sent underground to extract coal. The suitcases of a salesman, one filled with horseshoe and the other with rubber soles intended to prolong the life of the hooves, allow us to better understand the closeness that existed between these little men and these large animals.
«Wind in the tails of Mongolian horses» is a device to help us learn how to visualize the wind is proposed here: a poem sung by a celestial voice behind a curtain of horse tails.
After seeing the exhibition, you can see the wind, all you have to do is ask the right question.
Are we so crazy that we cannot help but accelerate our race towards a global catastrophe?

Hope you enjoy the show

We thank wildlife for their contribution.

The ivory of Elephantidae loxodonta recovered from the keys of pianos promised to the destruction.
The deer antlers of Cervus elaphus that fall in winter and grow back in spring.
The tail hairs of Equus ferus caballus, used by bow makers.
Merino wool from shearing Ovis aries used for knitting scarves and for billiard cloth.
The shellac produced by the female cochineal Kerria lacca used here to varnish coats of arms presenting the deer antlers.

According to the established formula, no animal was killed, tortured or injured to carry out this installation.
