With Joël Quémard

1969 The tanker Le Gironde dumped 1,500 tons of crude oil into the English Channel off the island of Bréhat (Brittany).
The oil slick reached the coast of Brittany three days later.
Joël Quémard and Gilles T. Lacombe collected small samples of crude oil in test tubes, which they sold to tourists who had come to see the tainted coastline.
